ANA: Aviat Network Associate Certification- Exam- per Student

Course Description  

The Aviat Networks ANA Certification covers the foundation technology and product knowledge for the AviatCARE Certification program. It consists of eLearning courses and additional KB articles. All exams are part of the completion criteria and are included as part of the learning course. On completion of all courses, student will be certified as Aviat Networks Associate (ANA). 

 

Target Audience 

This course is intended for individuals requiring foundational knowledge of microwave and IP technologies and Aviat WTM CTR and Eclipse platform and related radio equipment. 

 

Prerequisites  

  • No technical knowledge prerequisites are needed. 
  • PC with Internet access, Internet browser software, access and subscription to AviatCare LMS. 

 

Objectives 

Upon successfully completing this course, participants will be able to:  

  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of Microwave, RF and IP technologies, some familiarity of Aviat products, namely Eclipse, CTR, WTM platform and Provision NMS.

Aviat Cloud: How to Access the AviatCare Support Options 

The AviatCare Support Portal allows you to create, submit and track all technical support tickets, track sales orders, access the Knowledgebase and Self-Help sections, download the latest software, request RMA’s and hardware replacements. 

 

Basic Microwave eLearning 

The Basic Microwave Communications course introduces fundamental topics for microwave such as systems architecture, parameters, modulation techniques, bandwidth and capacity. Additionally, the course covers, antennas and microwave path design topics along with radio wave propagation, interference, protection schemes and diversity arrangements. Completing a short assessment at the end of the course will provide students with credentials necessary towards the Aviat Network Associate certification level. 

 

CTR8540/8300 System Overview 

The CTR8540/8300 System Overview course provides students with an overview of the basic features, equipment configuration and functionality for the CTR8540/8300 platform. Successfully completing a short assessment at the end of the course will provide students with credentials necessary towards the Aviat Network Associate certification level. 

The CTR8540/8300 product is the industry’s first microwave router, highly modular and scalable Access and Pre-Aggregation platform that delivers a unique combination of high-capacity all-packet transport, Carrier Ethernet, IP/MPLS and PWE services.

 

CTR8740 System Overview  
 
The CTR8740 System Overview course provides students with an overview of the basic features, equipment configuration and functionality for the CTR8740. Successfully completing a short assessment at the end of the course will provide students with credentials necessary towards the Aviat Network Associate certification level. 

 

Eclipse System Overview 

The Eclipse System Overview course provides students with an overview of the basic features, equipment configuration and functionality for the Eclipse platform. Successfully completing a short assessment at the end of the course will provide students with credentials necessary towards the Aviat Network Associate certification level. 

The Eclipse™ product family is a highly modular and scalable platform that delivers a unique combination of high-capacity hybrid or all-packet transport, Carrier Ethernet/IP networking, and comprehensive mission critical microwave features, enabling operators to prepare for the all-IP future. 

 

WTM4000 Overview 

The WTM System Overview course provides students with an overview of the basic features, equipment configuration and functionality for the WTM platform. Successfully completing a short assessment at the end of the course will provide students with credentials necessary towards the Aviat Network Associate certification level. 

The WTM 4000 is the industry’s first microwave router. It is a fully integrated microwave networking solution, delivering a unique combination of high-capacity all-packet transport, Carrier Ethernet, IP/MPLS and PWE services and comprehensive mission critical microwave features 
 

Basic Networking and IP Routing Overview 

The Basic Networking and IP Routing Overview course is for field and operations persons who are involved with deploying, configuring and operating networking equipment, including microwave radios that transport Ethernet/IP data packets 

 

Provision 

The Provision overview course provides students with an overview of the basic features, equipment configuration, functionality and preventive maintenance of microwave network elements using Provision EMS. 

 

Provision Plus 
ProVision Plus Overview course provides the Basic diagnostics, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of microwave network elements using ProVision Plus 

Each equipment, services and software purchased from Aviat Networks carries with it a commitment of excellence backed by Aviat Networks’ industry-leading warranty policy. All Aviat Networks warranties apply to the Customer or Original Owner also referred to as the end user.


“Final Acceptance” means testing of the Equipment following installation by Aviat Networks at Customer’s site(s) under the terms set forth in the Statement of Work and may be performed on a link by link basis, or when live traffic is cut over, or when the Customer has beneficial use of the Equipment, whichever occurs first. The following table provides the coverage duration for the types of warranties applicable. Please refer to your product ordering guide for the applicable warranty policy for that equipment, service or software.
